So, what’s new in this update? According to tech experts, Meta will now use AI to identify and select trending reels or short-form videos on popular topics, creators, music, and categories for brand campaigns across Meta’s apps, including Instagram.
The company quoted that “Available lineups include all overall trending content or specific categories like animals & pets, beauty & fashion, cars, sports, with more to come next year.” In the initial experimental phase, AI-powered Reels-tending ads have attracted 20 percent awareness, surpassing TikTok Pulse by almost 6 percent.
What’s more, for advertisers and brands! Meta is also planning to launch new ad features on Threads to connect brands with the current festive season and cultural moments. Now, you can also run image, video, and carousel ads on Threads without creating a separate account, using an Instagram account or an existing Facebook post via Ads Manager.
